Q. What operating systems will Mail-Shop Business Management Software run on?
A. Mail-Shop is a 100% Microsoft Windows compliant system. It runs on Windows 98, Windows NT Server and NT Workstation versions 4.0, Advanced Server 2000, Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows Vista.

Additionally, Mail-Shop is written to be completely compatible and extensible within the Microsoft Office environment. Versions of Office 97, Office 2000, Office XP, Office 2003, and Office 2007 are able to run Mail-Shop with no known issues.

Q. When customizing Mail-Shop, what kind of issues should I be aware of?
A. Although Mail-Shop Order Mangement System for Windows is fully customizable, we recommend that all customizations are made by Virtual Systems or an expert MS Access developer. Mail-Shop was designed to accomodate and integrate with user-designed objects. Some customizations may cause the application to become non-upgradeable, or render the software non-functional. If you wish to make modifications to your program, our installer can put aside some special time during the training sessions to discuss the process in detail with your programmer.

For more information, call 425-828-9495 ext 4.

Q. Do I need Microsoft Access to run Mail-Shop?
A. Mail-Shop comes with a run-time version of Microsoft Access 2003 so you do not need to purchase copies of MS Access for everyone. However, you will need at least 1 copy of MS Access 2000 or newer if you wish to build and modify your own reports.

"We had Mail-Shop up-and-running on the second day of the installation, and were immediately using it to manage orders from estimating through invoicing. Before Mail-Shop we used a homegrown program, but found it increasingly difficult to support, so we decided to get an out-of-the-box program that would be supported for us. The ease of use and quick implementation of Mail-Shop beat all other programs on the market, and the customer support is excellent."
